How much does audiobook recording cost?

Our audiobook recording rate is $150 per hour of studio time, and editing of your recorded audio is included in that rate. Total cost depends on the length of your book and your narration pace. During your free consultation we'll estimate the studio time your project needs so there are no surprises.

How long does it take to record an audiobook?

A useful rule of thumb: narrating one finished hour of audio takes roughly two hours of studio time once you account for retakes and breaks. A typical 6-hour audiobook is often recorded across several sessions on different days, which also keeps your voice fresh and consistent.

Do I need to prepare before my recording session?

Yes, and it makes a big difference. Read your manuscript aloud at least once before your first session, mark tricky words and character voices, and bring water. Rested vocal cords and a marked-up manuscript can meaningfully cut your total studio hours, which saves you money.

Can you help me publish and market my audiobook?
