The short version
Hudson Valley Podcasting (HV Podcasting) is a recording studio at 320 Robinson Ave, Suite 212, Newburgh, NY 12550. We collect the details you choose to give us so we can answer you and book your session. We do not sell your information. If you want yours deleted, ask and we will do it.
1. What we collect
- What you send us through the quiz on this site: your name, your email address, your phone number if you add it, and your answers about your show (your experience, the kind of content, your goals and your timeline).
- What you send us through a form on Facebook or Instagram: when you fill out one of our forms inside those apps, we receive the details you submit there, such as your name, phone number, email address and your answers to our questions.
- What you tell us directly: anything you share by phone, text, email or in person while we plan or record your session.
- Basic visit information: page views and the general device and location information our website host reports to us in summary form. This site does not use advertising cookies.
- Your connection's address, briefly: when a form is submitted, the sender's IP address is checked for a short time to block spam.
2. How we use it
- To reply to you by email, phone or text about what you asked for.
- To recommend a package, send dates and pricing, and book and run your session.
- To keep ordinary business records.
- To see which pages of this site are useful so we can improve it.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We use a small number of services to run the studio, and your details pass through them:
- Notion and Google Sheets: where we keep our list of inquiries.
- Resend and Slack: which alert our team when a new inquiry arrives.
- Vercel: which hosts this website and provides its visit statistics.
- Calendly: if you book a studio tour, you do that on Calendly's site and its own privacy policy applies.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): if you reach us through an ad or a form in those apps, Meta's own privacy policy applies to what you do there.
We may also share information when the law requires it.
4. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and booking details for as long as we need them to work with you and to keep business records. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
5. Your choices
- Ask what information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it or delete it.
- Tell us to stop contacting you.
Use the contact details below. We will answer as soon as we reasonably can.
6. Your recordings
What you record in the studio is covered by our Terms of Service, including who owns it.
7. Children
This website and our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
